The 9th REM is held at the Kyoto International Community House. The conference site is placed at the east end of Kyoto city (known as Okazaki area), which is the best place to feel history and culture of Japan.

Access to Kyoto
Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Osaka is the most accessible international airport to Kyoto. From KIX, Limited Express trains, airport limousines or share-ride taxi provides quick and easy transportation to Kyoto. From Tokyo's Narita Airport (NRT), domestic flight to Osaka area or "Shinkansen" bullet train is available to reach Kyoto. Transportation from the hotel to the conference venue
The conference hotel (see registration and accommodation) is placed at the downtown of the Kyoto city. Kyoto City subway (260JPY) connects between the hotel and the conference site. Taxi is also available (1,500 JPY for maximum 4 persons).
