Abstracts
Contributions for oral and poster presentation are invited. Abstracts should be a maximum of 500 words and may
include 1 figure and up to three references, but should not exceed a single page when printed in 12pt font.
Abstract Submission deadline: Monday 25th May 2009.
Please note, this is a realistic deadline, we are not intending to extend the deadline...
Abstract submission
On-line submission of abstracts is the preferred method. Please read the following instructions prior to submitting your abstract;
failure to adhere to these instructions may result in your abstract being reproduced in sub-optimal quality.
- Abstracts should be a maximum of 500 words
- One figure and three references are permitted
- Indicate the number of authors
- Select to upload a word document* or submit plain text
- Indicate which author is the corresponding and/or presenting author
- Indicate your preference for oral or poster presentation - the committee will note your preference but cannot guarantee your preferred choice
- Submit the title in lower case with only the first letter Capitalised
- Figures should be included in black and white or grey scale
- Authors including figures or references are recommended to upload a word document file.
If you are unable to submit your abstract using the on-line tool, please send an electronic copy to jon.mackew_AT_iop.org. Please ensure that you include the relevant information as above.
